Category Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team as a Category Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about procurement and has a proven track record in managing contracts, negotiating with vendors, and driving cost savings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. They will also lead smaller procurement projects from start to finish, manage vendor compliance and performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in procurement or a related field, with a degree in Commerce, Finance, or Procurement. You will also need to have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
