Aircraft Technical Specialist

A highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is required to work on various structures tasks including bore and surface corrosion removal, sleeve/bush installation, bonded nutplates, and panel installation.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Low Observable repairs and restorations on the F-35, alongside traditional structures work such as minor component replacement, bracket manufacture, and unit-level modifications.
Responsibilities include producing, maintaining and repairing sheet metal, bonded and composite components in line with regulatory standards.
Certification requirements must be accurately documented, and defects or non-conformances reported and escalated as necessary.
This role requires a high degree of technical skill, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key Requirements- Hold an Aircraft Maintenance Trade certification (Mandatory).
- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Defence NV1 Clearance (Mandatory).
- Experience or strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
- Ability to deliver work within a fast-paced team environment is crucial.
