Job Overview

Maintenance Engineer Avionics

A Maintenance Engineer in Avionics is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft avionic systems. The role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing faults.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance and avionics, with experience in working with Defence Military Aircraft. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of avionic systems and components. You will also be required to accurately document maintenance activities, meeting certification and reporting requirements within required timeframes.

An Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a Defence Clearance, you will hold an Aircraft Maintenance Trade, such as Cert IV Aeroskills - Avionics. Strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft, along with good communication skills and ability to deliver work within a fast-paced team environment are desired.

Requirements and Clearances
