Director of Education and Care

We are seeking a highly experienced Director to lead our early learning community, shaping a thriving environment that delivers excellence in education and care for up to 94 children.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Develop and inspire high-performing teams of educators through coaching, mentoring, and support, focusing on continuous improvement aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Foster strong partnerships with families and the local community, promoting collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Oversee enrolments, occupancy growth, budgeting, and resource allocation, optimising efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent approved by ACECQA).
  • Proven leadership experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Centre Director, demonstrating expertise in team management and development.
  • Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS, applying this knowledge to drive educational excellence and quality care.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering results and driving positive outcomes.
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.
