At Beacon Lighting, we're passionate about providing expert advice to our retail and trade customers. We're seeking a Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Mile End store.

As a Sales and Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and expanding our Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts, and developing strong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice.

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with comprehensive and ongoing training provided to ensure your success in the role.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing expert professional customer service to our retail and trade customers
  • Promoting and expanding our Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts
  • Developing strong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice
  • Achieving and exceeding personal sales targets
  • Supporting other team members to ensure business goals are met
  • Contributing to the overall presentation of the store through merchandising and general housekeeping

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualities:

  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with your customers
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your job
  • A strong attention to detail
