At Ability Plus Disability Services, we specialize in providing client-centered in-home care and community-based services throughout Victoria.

About the Role

We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will work with our clients, providing support and assistance with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: assisting with showering, dressing, bowel care, and toileting
  • Manual Handling: hoisting and other physical assistance
  • Physical Therapy/Hydro support
  • Domestic Services and Meal Assistance
  • Community Access
Requirements
  • Current National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Check (NDIS Check)
  • Current First Aid (Valid for three years) and CPR (Valid for 12 months)
  • Current Working with Children's Check (Employer)
  • Related Qualifications (e.g. Certificate in Disability, Aged Care and/or Home and Community Care)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (for Community Access)
  • Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia
  • Sound Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)
