High Frequency Trading Professional

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a high frequency trading specialist. This role will involve developing and maintaining low-latency connections to global trading venues, managing connectivity with FIX brokers, and optimizing exchange-facing components for best trading outcomes.

You will work closely with our development team to design, build, and deploy high-frequency trading systems, leveraging your expertise in Java or C++ and Python scripting languages. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our trading desk to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to maximize throughput and minimize latency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record in computer science, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a genuine interest in financial markets. Experience working in high-frequency trading firms, Windows, and Linux environments is also highly desirable.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain low-latency connections to global trading venues.
  • Manage and coordinate connectivity with FIX brokers.
  • Optimize exchange-facing components for best trading outcomes.
  • Work closely with the development team to design, build, and deploy high-frequency trading systems.
  • Collaborate with the trading desk to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to maximize throughput and minimize latency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in either Java or C++.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting language.
  • Experience working in high-frequency trading firms.
  • Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in financial markets.
  • Strong academic record in computer science degree.
  • Experience with some or all of the following: ITCH, OUCH, FLEX, Arrowhead, JGATE, OMNET, FIX.
