About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Analyst to join our team at Activeskin. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of beauty brands to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Customer Service, and Warehouse Teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives and commercial brand outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure marketing initiatives and drive commercial brand outcomes.
  • Generate and submit purchase orders, ensuring that buying specials and incentives are utilized, and billing and receiving of these orders are accurately managed.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoicing and stock discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory holdings to minimize stock obsolescence and make informed purchase decisions regarding range extensions, new product developments, and limited editions.
  • Monitor and document competitor activity and contribute to trend watch by staying connected to key businesses.
  • Manage the supply chain for incoming products and goods-in-waiting to support our marketing calendar and receiving promotional stock into our systems.
  • Ensure brand and product page accuracy, including descriptions, images, videos, pricing, ingredients lists, how-to-use information, and redirects.
  • Liaise with suppliers to secure digital assets to assist with supplier promotions, such as website banners, blogs, and social content.
  • Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Executive to implement our overarching marketing strategy.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or close to completing).
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and KPI-driven to drive sales.
  • A proactive and collaborative individual with a growth mindset and able to contribute to team culture.
  • A passion for skincare and beauty is a must, and experience in online skincare and beauty in Australia is preferred but not essential.
