Job Description:
Rheumatology Nurse ConsultantWe are seeking an experienced nurse to provide clinical leadership and support to our team in the Rheumatology department.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in musculoskeletal conditions, chronic disease health care principles, contemporary nursing theory and practice.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and guidance to other members of the healthcare team
- Coordinate and evaluate the intake, planning, assessment, evaluation and discharge processes for Rheumatology clients
- Develop and implement nursing care plans to ensure efficient and effective coordination and provision of nursing care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated extensive experience in musculoskeletal conditions, chronic disease health care principles, contemporary nursing theory and practice
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a range of benefits including:
- Salary: $114,851 - $121,886 per annum

You will need to meet the essential criteria to be eligible for this role.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Desirable criteria include:
- Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications
