Job Description:

Rheumatology Nurse Consultant

We are seeking an experienced nurse to provide clinical leadership and support to our team in the Rheumatology department.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in musculoskeletal conditions, chronic disease health care principles, contemporary nursing theory and practice.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to other members of the healthcare team
  • Coordinate and evaluate the intake, planning, assessment, evaluation and discharge processes for Rheumatology clients
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans to ensure efficient and effective coordination and provision of nursing care
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience in musculoskeletal conditions, chronic disease health care principles, contemporary nursing theory and practice
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently

Eligibility:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
