Learning Director Opportunity

Are you a skilled professional looking to lead and drive Learning & Development initiatives?

This role presents an exciting opportunity to work closely with business leaders, understand their needs, and establish a strategic plan that addresses these effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Regional L&D Managers.
  • Develop and implement a short- and long-term L&D Roadmap for the AP Cluster and Sub Cluster markets.
  • Provide advisory services to business leaders on L&D implications of regional business decisions, strategies, and organization change efforts.
  • Consult and advise Cluster leadership to achieve an aligned view of L&D needs and priorities in support of current and future business outcomes.
  • Drive L&D initiatives by consulting with key stakeholders to identify performance needs and gaps, then collaborating with Global and Cluster organization and functions to realize and implement programs.
  • Maintain and leverage performance results and recommend L&D improvement opportunities as needed.
  • Partner with HR to provide L&D expertise in support of the development and implementation of HR plans, programs, and tools to build and enhance organizational capability.
  • Engage with Cluster teams to drive competency development initiatives to support digital capability acceleration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant bachelor's Degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Asia and 5 years' experience within areas of Learning, Development, Organizational Development, and Education.
  • Ability to engage with business leaders around business strategy, goals, and business outcomes, making sound business decisions.
  • Proven capability to develop sustainable and cooperative professional relationships with all levels of the organization and across cultures.
  • Confident communication skills in English language.
  • Second language proficiency in Mandarin or Vietnamese is highly advantageous.
