We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Midwife to join our team at the Prince of Wales Private Hospital.

The dynamic birth suite offers a collaborative environment with a multi-disciplinary team, including midwives, obstetricians, and neonatologists. As a Registered Midwife, you will provide high-quality care to women and their families, ensuring patient and staff safety through effective communication and liaison.

You will have the opportunity to work across various areas, including post-natal wards and special care nursery on a rotational basis. Our dedicated maternity educator will support your professional growth and development in these units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional patient experience to women and their families.

  • Providing education and support to mothers and their families to promote positive health outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current midwifery registration with AHPRA.
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a special care nursery setting.
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
