- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and servicing of customer and rental equipment, managing maintenance schedules and maintaining accurate records.
- Initiate and receive communication with customers regarding equipment maintenance and repairs, both in-house and on-site.
- Provide over-the-phone troubleshooting assistance to customers.
- Coordinate and attend repair and maintenance work at various job sites.
- Offer hands-on assistance and demonstrations for the sales team as needed.
- Manage the check-in/check-out process of rental equipment and prepare it for dispatch.
- Assist with warehouse operations and coordinate industrial equipment deliveries.
- Inspect returned rental equipment and complete job cards.
- Perform basic fabrication and repairs as required.
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role with a proven track record.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics being highly desirable.
- Competence in using maintenance and repair tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Valid Australian driver's license is required.
- Forklift license is desirable.
