Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Field Service to join our team in Mackay, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy diesel products, including engines, generators, and other equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field
- Diagnose and repair engines, inspect and replace components as required
- Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
- Work with other major OEMs such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr
Requirements:
- Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)

- Overtime paid as penalty rates for all work above standard Monday Friday 38 hour work week
