Company Overview

We are partnering with a highly regarded Non-Government Organization (NGO) to find an experienced Procurement Officer. The organization focuses on providing support and supervision to future generations in need.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the Procurement Manager, supporting end-to-end procurement activities across the organization. This includes working with established suppliers and sourcing new ones when required. You will have the opportunity to identify areas of improvement and implement changes that lead to cost savings.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration
  • Experience in a procurement role with demonstrated stakeholder liaison skills
  • A thorough understanding of procurement standards
  • Experience with contract reviews and setting up new suppliers
  • Technical skills in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (TechOne advanced)
  • A current QLD driver's license
  • A current Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
