Job Role:

The role of Environmental Leader involves overseeing a team that covers Environment, Communities and Indigenous affairs.

This opportunity offers the chance to progress into a senior HSEC position.

  • Lead a team of eight members
  • Manage site environmental compliance and reporting
  • Improve environmental and community relations management and systems
  • Develop and implement strategies for improvement in environmental leadership

Essential Skills:

  • Mining environmental leadership experience
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Regulatory experience
  • Strong permitting experience
  • Qualification in a related field
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with ground water management and working with regulators on this issue
  • Knowledge of feasibility study permitting
