Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel, Employment Law

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and workplace legislation.

The successful candidate will lead or contribute to the delivery of strategic legal advice across all aspects of employment law, including enterprise agreements, awards, contracts, workplace investigations, and terminations.

You will also monitor and interpret legislative and industrial relations developments, advising on implications for policy, practice, and risk.

In addition, you will draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documentation, ensuring legal robustness and alignment with organisational values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters
  • Monitor and interpret legislative and industrial relations developments
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documentation
  • Partner with senior internal stakeholders and external counsel

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and workplace legislation

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and external counsel
  • Skilled in translating legal advice into clear, commercially relevant guidance
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
