Job Opportunity

As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting injured workers to return to work safely and efficiently. Your expertise in psychology, occupational therapy, or physiotherapy will enable you to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee injured worker's rehabilitation programs
  • Assist employers to create and monitor Return to Work (RTW) programs
  • Provide advice on injury prevention and occupational rehabilitation strategies
  • Liaise and consult with claims staff, medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and employers
  • Conduct workplace assessments and training sessions
Requirements:
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Psychology
  • Previous experience in workplace rehabilitation is highly valued
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in injury management or a willingness to learn and grow
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
