Job Title: Residential Care Worker - Cowell Casual Pool

Care and Support for Our Residents

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at Cowell Hospital. As a member of our friendly and supportive team, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.
  • Help with feeding residents and maintain their mobility and dexterity through transferring and lifting.
  • Undertake bed making, cleaning of equipment, and distribution of clean laundry.
  • Contribute to resident assessment and recording of general observations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sound knowledge of safe working conditions and environments for residents, staff, and yourself.
  • Able to perform under limited direction and work well within a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and displaying empathy towards residents and their families.
  • Demonstrate willingness to develop positive rapport with residents and their families.
