Rural Nurse Specialist

Deliver vital nursing and midwifery services in diverse health settings to patients across the rural outback town of Coober Pedy.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Registered Nurse to gain invaluable experience, evolve from novice practitioners to proficient professionals, and consolidate knowledge and skills while working as part of a dynamic team to provide high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess individual patient/client needs, plan, implement, and coordinate appropriate service delivery, collaborating with other disciplines or agencies as needed.
- Provide direct, person-centered nursing/midwifery care and individual case management to patients/clients in a defined clinical area, gradually increasing autonomy over time.
- Plan and coordinate services with other disciplines or agencies to address individual health care needs.
- Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practicing certificate.
- At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
This role offers an excellent work-life balance with a roster consisting of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Additional monetary incentives include an Attraction Incentive, Regional and Remote Zone and Locality Allowance, Professional Development Allowance, paid intrastate travel, and 6 weeks annual paid recreation leave.
