**Job Title:** General Services Manager
**Job Summary:**This leadership role is designed for an experienced professional in the aged care sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel, commercial kitchen, or aged care management and a passion for delivering high-quality services to residents.
**Key Responsibilities:- Oversee housekeeping, administration, hospitality, catering, admissions, sales, funding, and maintenance operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations and guidelines
- Manage housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, home-like environment
- Monitor stock levels, manage suppliers, and control expenditure
- Foster a positive team culture and enhance the resident experience
- A genuine desire to make a meaningful impact in aged care
- Previous experience in a similar role in aged care highly desirable
- Strong business acumen with service-based operations experience
- Practical leadership style with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to guide and motivate diverse, multi-skilled teams
- Experience managing budgets, staff, and resources to achieve results
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across all organizational levels
