Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Storeperson.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. Key responsibilities include planning, picking and cross-checking orders, employing correct stock rotation principles and ensuring accurate storage and retrieval of stock.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfilment: Plan, pick and cross-check orders with a high level of accuracy to meet customer expectations;
  • Stock Management: Employ correct stock rotation principles at all times based on 'first in first out' rule;
  • Inventory Control: Ensure any stock returned by drivers is put back into appropriate bin locations or put in appropriate damaged or low-code locations.

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Forklift license with high reach experience (preferable);
  • Must have cold storage experience;
  • Physically able to load/un-load containers and delivery vehicles;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Possess a high level of accuracy with attention to detail;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
