Home and Community Support Role

Are you looking for a meaningful part-time role that allows you to support older Australians in their homes? This Home and Community Support role is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.

As a member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting our clients to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Your work will help promote their health, happiness, independence, and individual preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation, bed making, dusting, wiping surfaces, and spot cleaning
  • Clean kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, windows, and floors (sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping)
  • Occasionally provide transport for clients to attend outings, appointments, shopping trips, or respite activities
  • Monitor clients' wellbeing and promptly report any changes to your supervisor
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully to foster strong teamwork
  • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner

Requirements
  • Own vehicle and Australian Driver licence
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • Up to date Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Cleaning experience highly regarded
