About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The successful applicant will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working in a culturally safe and patient-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and carers to promote healthy outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong academic background in medicine, with a focus on primary healthcare
  • Excellent clinical skills, including ability to diagnose and manage complex medical conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care in a culturally safe environment
