About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Estimator to join our client's team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions for civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and complete tenders to a high standard, ensuring they meet the client's requirements.
  2. Review and analyze tender scope, drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  3. Interpret tender requirements and develop successful strategies to secure projects.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary information for tender compilation.
  5. Perform quantity take-offs and prepare pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  7. Contribute to the selection and pursuit of suitable tenders.
  8. Monitor and track project costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
Requirements
  1. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field are highly regarded.
  2. Experience in estimating civil construction projects is essential.
  3. Strong knowledge of the civil construction process and common challenges.
  4. Construction White Card and current driver's license are required.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
