Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to contribute to the management of Queensland's fisheries resources.

The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, ability to understand and translate science and technical information, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support effective stakeholder engagement and contribute to the planning, development and implementation of strategies for fisheries resource management.
  • Prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, briefing notes, and other written documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, peers, staff, clients, researchers, and government agencies.
  • Represent Fisheries at fishery working groups, meetings, conferences, and workshops.

The successful candidate will be required to perform other duties as assigned.
