About the Role

This is a key position within the Coles Group, reporting directly to the Enterprise Architect. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining solution architectures that align with the company's technology strategy and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in governance forums to secure solution endorsement and manage architectural adjustments post-approval
  • Provide guidance and oversight to delivery teams, while mentoring technical groups and architecture team members
  • Lead the identification and promotion of innovative technologies to meet business goals
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, business and technology peers to develop solution architectures that enable successful delivery of projects and initiatives
  • Participate in digital innovation by leveraging innovative technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the solution landscape
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of Solution Architecture experience
  • Extensive experience in designing end-to-end solutions specialising in one or more areas that include Websites, Mobile Apps, Martech Stack, Personalisation, Customer, e Commerce, Loyalty Programs, Point of Sales solutions, Microservices and Composable Architectures
  • Experience in working in and helping deliver large projects/programs of work and ability to work across multiple initiatives/projects at a time
  • Ability to work with business and delivery teams to elicit functional and non-functional requirements as key inputs into Solution Architecture
  • Experience and willingness to collaborate with technical teams such as engineering, data, integrations, testers & support
