Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer

The role of a Senior Procurement Officer is pivotal in supporting procurement operations across various regions. This position will focus on delivering high-quality procurement outcomes for construction, maintenance, consulting, and upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically communicate procurement requirements to staff members.
  • Provide training and support to enhance procurement practices within the organization.
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders across various project categories, including construction, maintenance, consulting, and upgrade projects.
  • Implement efficient procurement processes to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and performance standards.
  • Support medium and major building contract implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement policies and legislation.
  • Manage escalated customer queries, maintaining high service standards.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes and relevant policies.
  • Experience in preparing and managing tenders across construction and maintenance categories.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
  • Desirable: experience in government procurement or similar environments.
