Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in a federal government, politics or policy-related role is required.
  • Tertiary qualifications in political science, public policy, law or communications are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with expertise in building consensus on complex issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, politicians, advisors, and departmental representatives.
  • Capacity to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret policy directions and political motivations.
  • Strong commercial acumen and influence over stakeholders to effect change.
