We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Child Development Professional.
- This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and environments that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation or an ACECQA-approved childcare qualification. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
About the Role:
- The Child Development Professional will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of all children aged 0-6 years.
- They will collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement educational programs, ensuring continuity and coherence across the curriculum.
- Strong relationships with children, families, and the community are essential for this role, and the successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain these connections through effective communication and collaboration.
- The Child Development Professional will contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre through active participation in our Quality Improvement Plan.
- Advocating for children's rights and interests is also a critical aspect of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive educational program that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and meets the needs of all children.
- Collaborate with educators to plan and implement educational programs that promote children's learning and development.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the community through effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the centre's Quality Improvement Plan by identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
- Advocate for children's rights and interests within the centre and broader community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation or an ACECQA-approved childcare qualification.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
