Market Integrity Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to maintaining the integrity of the financial system and protecting consumers from harm by taking enforcement action on matters that impact market integrity.

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to support and conduct investigations and associated litigation leading to enforcement outcomes.
  • Project manage and contribute to the investigation of suspected misconduct in areas regulated by ASIC.
  • Conduct investigative tasks including the analysis of large electronic data sets, drafting/serving compulsory notices, collecting and reviewing documents.
  • Interview and obtain information from a range of witnesses.
  • Assist with commencing and conducting civil litigation in the Federal Court.
  • Compile briefs of evidence for the CDPP and assist the CDPP to prepare for and conduct criminal prosecutions.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Investigative and analytical skills with experience planning and managing complex investigations and projects through to conclusion.
  • Skills in analysing and interrogating large complex data and evidence, and drive to understand the issues and take appropriate action.
  • Experience effectively presenting complex information to different target audiences through strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders and professional networks.
  • Demonstrated capacity to use a variety of digital applications for investigative, research and data collation purposes.
