Job Opportunity for Financial Markets Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Global ETF Market Making team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for formulating trading strategies and executing them effectively.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and insights impacting financial markets is crucial to your success in this role. You will also research and identify new opportunities, collaborate with the broader market making team, implement algorithmic strategies and associated tools, and engage proactively with regulators, issuers, exchanges, and brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need advanced ability in probability and statistics, in-depth inductive and deductive reasoning ability, excellent numerical and analytical skills, a passion for financial markets, strong written and verbal communication skills, and an academic record in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Econometrics, Computer Science or equivalent degree.
