We have an immediate opening for a Project Design Electrical Engineer in Sydney. This role will lead design projects in operational data centers that remediate issues, upgrade existing infrastructure or add new services.
About the Job
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of design experience in mission-critical facilities. They will possess strong engineering judgment, attention to detail, and experience managing engineering projects and consultants.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead design projects in operational data centers.
- Develop and implement design solutions to remediate issues, upgrade existing infrastructure or add new services.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered.
- Manage concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for electrical systems during new remediation projects.
- Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover.
