Job Description

This Senior Data Centre Technician role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities across NSW, working closely with Services Managers to maintain critical infrastructure and uphold our brand promises.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting Services Managers in maintaining the optimal condition of critical infrastructure within the facility and adhering to our brand promises
  • Participating in audit preparations and contributing to the on-call roster
  • Ensuring timely resolution of facilities issues and performing regular testing of key equipment
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of site reference library materials in accordance with established document review processes

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess extensive knowledge of data centre operations, including electrical and mechanical system configurations, rack management practices, and design principles. Additionally, proficiency in building management and monitoring systems is crucial, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidates must hold a tertiary qualification in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Mechanical trade (HVAC/Air conditioning) and have a minimum of three years of experience in data centre facilities or similar critical infrastructure settings.
