About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mower and Brushcutter Operator to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our groundskeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across our various council-controlled roadsides and open spaces in Brisbane city.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. You will be working in a collaborative team environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and ensuring the safety of yourself and others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard.
  • Assist with other grounds keeping tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

About You

  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • White Card
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
