About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mower and Brushcutter Operator to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and safety of our green spaces across Brisbane city.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. You will be working in a collaborative team environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently to maintain and enhance green spaces.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with other grounds keeping tasks as needed, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, following instructions and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid Drivers Licence, White Card, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
