About the Role

This role involves providing care and companionship to people with disabilities in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with daily tasks, personal care, and housekeeping
  • Supporting mealtime routines and dietary needs, including PEG feeding
  • Administering medication according to care plans and training
  • Performing manual handling tasks, including hoisting
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Fostering Positive Behaviour Support strategies
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

We seek an individual with a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities, relevant experience, and qualifications such as a valid drivers licence, Senior First Aid and CPR certificate, NDIS worker screening clearance, and Blue card.
