Compliance Assurance Lead - Building Standards Improvement
">This role is a key opportunity for an experienced professional to make a positive impact on the building industry in NSW.
The successful candidate will lead a team conducting audits of development sites to identify and address serious defects, contributing to improved building standards for the benefit of the people of NSW.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and leading site audits and inspections
- Reviewing project documentation
- Drafting and reviewing audit reports and other documentation
- Making recommendations for regulatory action
- Developing and implementing effective audit tools, policies, and procedures
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a building/construction-related discipline, be an effective leader with strong communication skills, and possess a Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or be willing to undertake training.
Experience in fields such as builder/trade background, clerk of works, building surveying/certification, structural/civil/mechanical engineering, fire services, waterproofing, design officers, technical dispute resolution, and site supervision will be beneficial.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to travel across NSW as required and possess a high level of integrity and professionalism.
