Job Description:

As a Maintenance Carpenter Apprentice, you will develop your skills and knowledge through hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing assets. This role is an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of our city's infrastructure.

  • You will gain practical skills in maintenance and repair work, supporting the Building Maintenance team.
  • Your responsibilities will include repairing doors, windows and fixtures, replacing damaged timber, installing and repairing parkland furniture and equipment, fencing, and minor concreting works.
  • You will use hand and power tools, read maintenance plans, and work safely in occupied buildings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • The ability to work safely and effectively in occupied buildings.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
