Housekeeping Professional Opportunity

Join our dynamic team at Mercure Sydney Blacktown as a Housekeeping/Room Attendant. As a passionate housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service and quality in guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and quality to exceed client expectations.
  • Presentation of rooms must be impeccable, including thorough cleaning of the room and bathroom, making of beds, vacuuming, mopping, and replenishing of amenities in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Ensure cleanliness of your work area and clean and tidy public areas to a high-quality standard.
  • Sort, fold, count, and stack linen and bedding effectively.
  • Operate with integrity and diligence to maintain the security, confidentiality, and privacy of hotel guests.
  • Comply with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures and report any hazards, faults, or damages proactively.
  • Develop successful working relationships with clients and colleagues through honesty and transparency.
  • Be flexible and take on additional tasks if required.
  • Contribute to creating a collaborative workplace culture that aligns with Silk's values.

About You

We are seeking a professional who is well-versed in providing quality customer service and has experience working in fast-paced roles. You should possess excellent presentation skills, a proactive attitude, an excellent work ethic, and a reliable nature.

What We Offer

  • Permanent part-time employment with guaranteed hours.
  • $22.77 per hour + superannuation, with paid annual leave and sick leave.
  • Flexibility - shifts available from 8.00am to 3.00pm, seven days a week.
  • Ideal availability for at least three shifts per week.
  • Paid training over three days between Monday and Friday.
  • Ongoing training and support.
