We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at I Maccheroni, a Casual Dining restaurant in New South Wales.
- Lead a team of passionate chefs
- Remuneration - $73,150 - $80,000
- Develop and implement menus and daily/weekly specials
I Maccheroni is a restaurant serving classic Italian food with Australian influences using local fresh products.
We are looking for a professional Executive Chef who can demonstrate:
- A passion for food and creativity in the kitchen
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High standards of professionalism and cleanliness
- Excellent problem solving skills and flexibility
Responsibilities will include:
- Planning and implementing menus and specials
- Estimating food and labour costs
- Ordering food supplies and kitchen equipment
- Monitoring quality of dishes, preparation and presentation
- Preparing and cooking food
- Enforcing Food Health and Safety
- Discussing food preparation issues with managers and kitchen staff
- Teaching cooking techniques and procedures to kitchen staff
- Maintaining contact with suppliers to ensure quality of food and items delivered
- Continuous self-training in new cooking techniques and style to maintain a fresh and novel menu
These are full time positions working 40-50 hours / 6.5 days. Remuneration packages between $73,150 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidates.
