Registered Nurse Mental Health Lead

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Lead in mental health services. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in mental health nursing, with a strong background in case management and community-based care. They will be responsible for delivering holistic health promotion, community education, and culturally safe cancer care pathways. They will also coordinate planning with hospitals and Aboriginal Medical Services to ensure culturally safe referrals.

In addition to their clinical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team. They will be able to provide support and guidance to other team members, and contribute to the development of quality improvement processes and culturally appropriate learning materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience in community health, chronic disease, oncology, or related programs.
  • Current QLD Driver's Licence, First Aid/CPR, Blue Card, and National Police Check.
  • Cultural awareness working rural and remote and with Aboriginal and Torres Island communities.
