About the Position

Our hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Ward on a part-time basis.

We require an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, who can provide safe and high-quality patient care, supervise and guide nursing team members, educate patients in recovery and rehabilitation, lead quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care that prioritizes patient safety and well-being.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure optimal workflow and efficiency.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead quality improvement projects that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Participate in education programs to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:
  • Australian Authority to Work
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute setting
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
  • Compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards
  • Strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
