Our Team
Our Corporate & Capital Markets group is a high-performing and market-leading practice, extending across corporate advisory and governance, public and private M&A, capital markets (debt and equity), finance (asset, corporate, property, structured and project), funds management, and regulatory, spanning across all industries.
The Brisbane Corporate (Transactions Solutions) team is a small but close-knit team that is well connected to the national Corporate & Capital Markets group. The personnel in the team regularly work with other partners in Brisbane and in other offices and are highly regarded for their expertise in private and public M&A transactions, capital raising and corporate governance across the government, agribusiness, mining and retirement & aged care sectors.
Your Role
We are seeking interest from lawyers with 2-4 years post-admission experience to join the team. You will be working closely with well-regarded partner Stephen Knight providing transactional support and corporate governance advice to a diverse client base. You will also have the opportunity to work with Corporate & Capital Markets partners in other offices as part of our national Corporate & Capital markets team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide transactional support and corporate governance advice to clients
- Work closely with partners and other team members to deliver high-quality results
- Develop and maintain expertise in corporate transactions, including M&A
- Contribute to the growth and development of the team
Requirements
- 2-4 years post-admission experience
- Strong technical skills and demonstrated experience advising on corporate transactions
- Experience in one or more of the following industry sectors: agribusiness, mining or retirement & aged care
