TAFE Network Director

The Chief Executive Officer of the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery leads the Victorian TAFE network, driving quality and strategic guidance. This role is vital in supporting the success of the TAFE Network and its contribution to Victoria's future by providing skills that meet employer and student needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead high-performance teams to deliver outcomes through contemporary leadership capability.
- Engage in stakeholder negotiations to achieve mutually accepted policy outcomes that drive quality.
- Communicate with diverse audiences and identify common issues among stakeholders to foster mutually beneficial partnerships that maximize outcomes.
- Oversee the management of operational accountabilities, including aligning strategy, budget, business planning, and reporting with the Department's overall policy and delivery priorities.
- Deliver core business objectives, performance targets, collaboration efforts, and risk management plans while adhering to relevant legislation and statutory obligations.
- Promote and advocate TAFE as a priority for the government, utilizing influence, negotiation skills, and knowledge gained from working closely with government entities.
The Skills and Employment Group enables Victorians to access contemporary skills and employment opportunities and employers to attain a skilled workforce. The Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery plays a pivotal role in providing system leadership and oversight for the TAFE Network across Victoria.
The estimated salary for this position is around $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package reflects the importance of this role in leading the Victorian TAFE network and driving quality in the way it provides training.
