Job SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Food Co-worker to join our team at IKEA. As a Food Co-worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation in our restaurant and food areas.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Inspect food items for quality and freshness, taking corrective actions as necessary
- Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet production deadlines
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Previous commercial cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings

This is a permanent part-time role, working 60 hours per fortnight. You will be required to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings, and have the flexibility to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month.
