About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to join our IKEA Food team as a Food Service Associate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of your work area, adhering to food standards and regulations.
- Preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, with a focus on food safety, waste control, and production levels.
- Inspecting food items for quality and freshness, taking corrective actions to ensure consistency.
- Prioritizing strict cooking timelines and multitasking under pressure during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, preferably in hospitality or cookery.
- Ability to work within a team, following strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines.
- Passion for food quality and presentation, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
