Job Overview

We are seeking experienced academics to teach new and current courses in the Bachelor of Education Studies (Early Childhood).

The successful candidates will need to provide high-quality interactive teaching to students, manage learning management systems, create innovative learning environments, and assist students at risk of failing.

They will also participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions, provide ongoing student support, and assure the quality of assessment processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Completion of a PhD or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant teacher registration board.
  • Demonstrated discipline knowledge, teaching experience, and commitment to student learning and experience.
  • Knowledge of the National Code of Practice for international students.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students.
  2. Manage the learning management system for course delivery.
  3. Create and maintain an innovative learning environment that meets learning outcomes.
  4. Identify and assist students at risk of failing units.
  5. Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
  6. Provide ongoing student support through email and the learning management system.
  7. Assure the quality of assessment and examination processes.
