Job Title: Conference and Events Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Conference and Events Operations Supervisor to join our team at Sofitel Brisbane Central. As a key member of our Conference and Events Operations department, you will be responsible for supervising events, liaising with clients, and delegating duties to team members. Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in leading, mentoring, and training the Conference and Events Operations team
* Supervise events, liaise with clients, and delegate duties to team members
* Liaise with the kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal is maintained
* Ensure guest expectations are met in each event, delivering a service that exudes luxury and aligns with Sofitel brand standards
* Promote a strong Heartist culture and a team that is focused on providing unforgettable experiences to our guests

Requirements:

* A luxury service-focused personality
* Functions experience in a large hospitality events operation
* Experience in leading a team and supervising others
* Ability to work rotating roster, with the occasional late night or overnight shift
* A real passion for everything food and beverage
* Ability to delegate responsibilities accordingly
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
* Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
* A high level of personal presentation
* Team spirit and positivity, with the ability to work efficiently
