Job Title: Conference and Events Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conference and Events Operations Supervisor to join our team at Sofitel Brisbane Central. As a key member of our Conference and Events Operations department, you will be responsible for supervising events, liaising with clients, and delegating duties to team members. You will also be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal is maintained, and that guest expectations are met in each event.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in leading, mentoring, and training the Conference and Events Operations team
* Supervise events, liaise with clients, and delegate duties to team members
* Liaise with the kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal is maintained
* Ensure guest expectations are met in each event, delivering a service that exudes luxury and aligns with Sofitel brand standards
* Promote a strong Heartist culture and a team that is focused on providing unforgettable experiences to our guests

Requirements:

* A luxury service-focused personality
* Functions experience in a large hospitality events operation
* Experience in leading a team and supervising others
* Ability to work rotating roster, with the occasional late night or overnight shift
* A real passion for everything food and beverage
* Ability to delegate responsibilities accordingly
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
* Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
* A high level of personal presentation
* Team spirit and positivity, with the ability to work efficiently
