About the Role:
  • This position requires a strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and trauma-informed practice.
  • You will work collaboratively with other agencies and services to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for children and their families.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each family.
  • Provide education and support to families on topics such as child safety, parenting skills, and accessing community resources.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Clinical Psychology is essential for this role.
  • Relevant experience working with vulnerable families, particularly those experiencing trauma, is highly valued.
  • Membership with a relevant professional association and/or registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is required.
